The best ever tour in Porto
The combination of veterans & youngsters got engaged to show their best performances to win Annual Friendly Cricket Matches played on 15 &16th June 2019 in Porto, Portugal. The both games were won by GESLCC by a respectable margin.
The first match started on a cool sunny day. The Porto Captain won the toss and elected to bat first. The GESLCC captain Dugal and vice captain open the innings. Unfortunately Arun got injured (retired hurt) when he was only 2 runs. Then Mitusan joined Dugal and built a 76–runs partnership when the first wicket fell. A total of 206 was scored for a loss of 2 wickets. Dugal 46 & Sudath 7 runs both got out. Mithusan scored 89 runs while Roshan scored 42 – both not out. As a response to that, The Porto scored 161 runs for the loss of 8 wickets within the allocated overs.Junid & Binoy took one wicket each.
